President Trump is reportedly warning Ukraine against further attacks on Russian oil infrastructure. But could the growing battle over global energy supplies have a connection to the Black Horse of Revelation?

A new report claims that American intelligence officials have warned Ukraine that additional strikes against Russian energy facilities could result in the United States cutting off intelligence sharing. The alleged warning has not been independently confirmed, but it raises a significant question about the relationship between war, oil, and the global economy.

Russia is one of the world's major energy producers, and attacks on oil refineries, storage facilities, and pipelines can have consequences far beyond the battlefield.

And that brings us to an intriguing passage in Bible prophecy.

In Revelation 6:5–6, John describes the rider on the Black Horse carrying a pair of balances. The passage discusses the buying and selling of food before issuing an unusual command:

“See thou hurt not the oil and the wine.”

Endtime has long interpreted the Black Horse as representing capitalism and the balances as symbols of economic activity. While the oil mentioned in Revelation originally referred to an agricultural product, could the passage also offer insight into the importance of oil in today's global economic system?
