Is God male? Female? Trans? Or are we asking the wrong question about the nature of God?

A sermon from an Episcopal priest is getting our attention after making a provocative argument involving God, gender and the divinity of Jesus Christ.

So today on The Endtime Show, we're going back to the Bible.

Scripture declares that there is one God. Jesus taught that God is Spirit. And the New Testament teaches that God was manifest in the flesh in Jesus Christ.

So what does that actually mean?

On this Open Line Friday, Vince Stegall, Doug Norvell and Bryan Smith examine what Scripture teaches about the nature of God and the identity of Jesus Christ. We'll look at passages including Deuteronomy 6, Isaiah 45 and 46, John 1 and 4, Colossians 2, 1 Timothy 3 and other foundational texts.

We'll also examine the dual nature of Jesus Christ. He was genuinely human—He hungered, thirsted, grew weary, wept and died. Yet Scripture also presents Jesus doing what only God can do: forgiving sins, exercising authority over creation, raising the dead and ultimately rising from the grave.

How should Christians understand those two realities?

We'll also discuss Pope Leo's visit to France and why the relationship between powerful religious and political leaders attracts the attention of Bible prophecy students.
