Jesus’ command to “be perfect” is not a call to flawlessness, but to completeness and spiritual maturity in Him. Scripture shows that God completes us in key areas—love, strength, faith, and patience—so that nothing is lacking in our walk with Christ. When we allow God to perfect these areas, we grow into fullness in Christ and experience greater victory over mistakes and failures.
