The Vatican is preparing to bring hundreds of religious and institutional representatives together—and one of the organizers says the world needs “spiritual unification.” Could this have a connection to the religious system described in Revelation 17?

Pope Leo XIV is scheduled to participate in a major interfaith gathering in Assisi, Italy, on October 27, marking the 40th anniversary of Pope John Paul II bringing world religions together in 1986.

According to Vatican News, 384 representatives from 53 countries are expected to participate in discussions involving religion, peace, disarmament, climate change, migration, and international cooperation.

But one statement in particular has our attention.

Marco Impagliazzo, president of the Community of Sant'Egidio, has spoken about the “spiritual unification of the world” and promoting universal fraternity among different religions and cultures.

What does that mean? And could growing cooperation among world religions eventually contribute to the religious system described in the Book of Revelation?

In this episode of The Endtime Show, Vince Stegall and Doug Norvell examine the Vatican's growing emphasis on religious unity through the lens of Mystery Babylon in Revelation 17 and the False Prophet in Revelation 13.

Endtime has long taught that Mystery Babylon is connected to Rome and the Roman Catholic religious system. Revelation 17 describes a powerful religious entity associated with seven mountains, purple and scarlet, tremendous wealth, worldwide influence, and relationships with the kings of the earth.

We'll examine those biblical clues, the history of religious persecution, and why Endtime believes a future religious leader will work alongside the Antichrist to influence the nations of the world.

For decades, religious leaders have promoted greater cooperation among different faiths. But when organizers begin openly discussing the spiritual unification of the world, students of Bible prophecy have reason to examine what that could mean.

Could the religious infrastructure of a future one-world system be taking shape?

Then we turn to France, where protests over educational conditions have escalated into violent confrontations, arrests, and growing political controversy.

Some commentators are raising questions about a possible Red-Green Alliance involving radical left-wing and Islamist movements. Vince and Doug examine those claims alongside Endtime's interpretation of the red and pale horses in Revelation 6 and the four spirits described in Zechariah 6.

Could these seemingly different developments—religious unity on one hand and political unrest on the other—offer insight into the prophetic picture described in Scripture?

The Vatican, Mystery Babylon, the False Prophet, France, and the Four Horsemen of Revelation. We're connecting today's headlines with Bible prophecy on The Endtime Show.
