For a while now, we have had the same opening Headline on our Evening News Networks here in Israel for the last 2 and a half weeks. Will the US Attack Iran and take out the threat once and for all, or will Trump make a deal with them? This is the diplomatic limbo we have been in for a while. Today, Iran made 2 attacks on American assets in the area to see how the USA would respond, unfortunately the response was very small, showing the Iranians that the USA is not interested in escalating the situation. Or in other words, does not want to use military force, only diplomatic talks. In the meantime, Hamas in the Gaza Strip is carrying out attacks and showing force to publicly state that they have no intentions of disarming in any way. We are in a pickle, to say the least. The next steps taken by the USA and Israel in the next few days could be the deciding factor in what the end will be with these conflicts.
