Jared Kushner is back at the center of Middle East peace negotiations—and there are five prophetic reasons Bible prophecy watchers should be paying attention.

In this episode of The Endtime Show, Vince Stegall and Doug Norvell examine Kushner's meeting with senior Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya in Egypt as the Trump administration works to advance a U.S.-backed road map for Gaza. The negotiations involve far more than a temporary ceasefire. Hamas disarmament, Israeli withdrawal, reconstruction, Palestinian governance, international security arrangements and even Palestinian statehood are now part of the larger conversation.

So, what does this mean for Bible prophecy?

We break down five prophetic reasons to watch these negotiations closely. Palestinian statehood raises questions surrounding the division of the land described in Joel 3:2. Growing international pressure on Israel echoes a broader biblical trajectory in which Jerusalem becomes an issue involving the nations. And if negotiations eventually move beyond Gaza into a comprehensive regional agreement involving Israel, the Palestinians, Arab normalization, borders, international guarantees, Jerusalem or the Temple Mount, Daniel 9:27 becomes especially important to watch.

To be clear: the current Gaza negotiations are not established as the prophesied covenant of Daniel 9:27. But Bible prophecy tells us a consequential covenant involving Israel is coming, which means understanding what to watch for matters.

And there's another development unfolding simultaneously.

Recent interfaith gatherings in Seoul and Brussels have brought together representatives of Christianity, Confucianism, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and other traditions to emphasize common values, peace and greater cooperation. A Vatican-supported Confucian-Christian gathering even centered on the theme “New Heaven, New Earth and Great Harmony/Great Unity.” These gatherings do not constitute the one-world religious system of Revelation 13, but they raise important questions about the growing global movement toward interfaith cooperation.

Peace in the political world. Unity in the religious world. And Jerusalem remains at the center of Bible prophecy.
